Lesson #1 How To Improve ALL your social network profiles and make money

1.You should always upload your own photo, I have noticed their is a lot of people on social networks advertising their businesses and they dont use a picture of themselves. You should always use a picture of yourself so as to brand yourself so to speak. You are trying to gain peoples trust to buy from you and make it personal. Dont use a picture of a dog or the stars or a avatar. You have to treat this like it is a million dollar business otherwise it will never be. You wouldnt put your head in a paper bag if you owned a brick and mortar business would you? Do you think you would get many customers that way?????

2. Dont just put links up on your profile with out a little information about you. Again you are trying to brand yourself and get people to trust you, and trust that the business or product you are selling is good and real. Remember their are a lot of scams on the internet. Social networking is about making friends and sharing, how can you share with someone with no face or information about them? I use to own a retail store in are local mall and my best customers were the ones who I got to know the best.

3.Dont just recruit all the time, you have to offer up legitimate information to people and be friendly, offer up ideas that have actually worked or a affiliate program you really made money with. You should always have had success selling the product before you recruit someone, other wise how do you really know if it is such a great company?????? It is easy to refer people when you have had success making money with the company.

4. I also noticed on many social networks not just this one, that nobody takes advantage of the rss feed they can add. The rss feed is located on the left hand side of your page, look on my page and you will see an rss feed to my blog. You just click on yours and add the feed. If you dont have a blog get one it is easy to make and they are free and a great source of free traffic,
you can get a free blog at blogger or
squidoo

I would advise setting up blogs at both it is very profitable when done right and you can set as many up as you want I personally have over 100 blogs, all for different niches, its like having 100 free websites. If each one only makes ten bucks a month, think about it. It will take some practice setting up and learning,but believe me its worth it!!!

5. Their is also an rss feed incorporated into your page in about the middle right before your profile information, it looks like a square with some lines running at a slant in it. That is your rss feed url for your page, click on it and it will turn into the rss feed and the url will be in your browser. You need to ping that url everytime you update your page, this will bring you more traffic to your page and it will get your page spidered by the rss indexing sites. Their is also an option when you create a group to ad a rss feed to the group make sure you do, then click edit it and ad your rss feed from your blog.

6. Learn html and how to use it to make your links click able, A lot of people post links all over in these social networks and dont realize that their link is not click able. Also the search engines like it better when it is an anchor text, it has your keywords as the link, very important
I left some of the links in this post click able and some not so you can see the difference
The ones that are not Click able you have to copy and paste into your browser except in the blog here they remain click able but you can see the difference.

7. Post comments and make more friends, help others out, get yourself known. After I learned to use my own picture and a little information about myself on my profiles, I started realizing people were remembering me, they would email me and say I have seen you around and they would start asking for help. Also dont forget to use the share button located by your profile picture and located by your blog post at the bottom when you are done submitting it. Social bookmarking sites can bring you a ton of traffic. If your not a member consider joining some it gives you another place to make a profile with a link to your website and you can make friends their as well. Social bookmarking sites are a great source for oneway links.


8. Learn how to SELL your products, not just refer people, their is no money being made unless somebody buys something and if you think you will just wait until your down lines start selling, you will be waiting until the cows come home before you make any money!!!! that is why most matrixes and flip flops and mlms fail, no body is selling and their is no money!! Remember their are no secrets on the internet, no better marketing plans, the gurus themselves only make money when you buy something!
LEARN HOW TO SELL, that is why it is so important to find reputable companies with great products with great conversions. I make ten times the money selling the products as I do with referrals, why because I have mastered selling!
