Make the Stars Wish They Had Your Money!

In light of MegaLido (the star of the autosurf industry) demise, I just did a quick survey
to get a feel for the length of time surfs and hyips typically last. Not real science but
pretty relevant for our playing strategy.

I found 23 current hyips (high yield investment programs-no surfing).
l -Tradelite was started for online use in April, 08. Pays 194% for 60 days.
1- Safe Atom, was started March 20, 08 and pays 2% daily for 150 days.
l-Large Sum was started in June 06 and pays 1% for 30 bus. days.
The other 20 all are from 1 to 8 weeks old.
Lesson for me is these programs don't last very long so act accordingly with your cash.

Surfs:
I found 9 surfs.
The oldest one -8 daily forever- dates from May, 08. It only recently became a 12x12 type paying huge returns. It paddled along with a small 5% daily for 30 days until
about 1 month ago.
The next oldest one- Max Share- was started in July, 08 and pays only 3% for 40 days.
The others are all less than 6 weeks old.
Lesson. The surfs paying the 12x12 pattern are just fun, but explosive games. Act accordingly.

Jim, Megalido did not "demise". Terms have changed to 4% times 36 days. The 12 x 12 with that many members was sure to suffer. This new plan is a smart way of keeping the program up and running. The 12x12 expiries are automatically rolled into the 4x36 plan. Some people not happy with that. Others are OK with it.

That's the official story. I'm pretty sure it's gone. Hope you're right as they still have some of
my $$$. What I think will happen is the pp like stp will lock the funds remaining so the accounts
can't be emptyied. But time will tell. Lesson only remains the same. These high risk plans are
meant to be for fun and short term profit. Put your serious money into programs that pay
great and will be around for awhile.

you are correct Jim, I have pendings sitting there, errors on my web page with "my" money.. little action daily, a few pathetic payouts..

do I live in hope, of course, getting some money out of ml will be a blessing, but not holding my breath..

your figures about the length of life of a hyip is revealing.. lets be careful out there..

Please see my last post in the MegaLido discussion... Jim, you are right about the freezing of funds, but it was AlertPay!

I believe Michael is NOT a quitter like many have been in the past when confronted with problems such as this, but that's my opinion only, and I've been known to be wrong many times.

Just as long as we've gotten our original investment out, we really can't complain, can we?

Oh, I'm editing this to let everyone know the forum is open again, and Michael is posting there. I haven't read any of the posts yet, but I really hope the members remain loyal, because I think Michael is a loyal person also.

Also, please check out this post in the MoneyMakerGroup Forum... there may be some validity to it
